New DVLA online tachograph service slashes wait times and allows instant payments.

To make the tachograph application process faster and easier, the DVLA has launched a new online DVLA digital tachograph service for applying and paying for a driver digital tachograph card.

Drivers can also apply online to renew a card that is expiring within 90 days or to replace a lost or stolen card. New cards should be issued with 24 hours and to apply online a driver will need their GB photocard driving licence, driving licence number and a credit or debit card.

Apply online for your Tachograph card here: https://www.gov.uk/apply-driver-digital-tachograph-card
